Elfea Louise Townsend was born Oct. 18, 1915 in Dickinson County, KS. to John and Augusta (Hamm) Schettak. She died on Feb 18, 2015 in Enterprise, KS. at the age of 99. Elfea was an artist, musician and homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wilbur; brother, Art and sister, Lydia. Elfea is survived by her children, Carolyn (Bill) Rutherford of Wichita, KS., Madolyn (Bill) Shields of Parsons, KS., and Michael (Lynne) Townsend of Abilene, KS.; a sister, Frances Kreutziger of Hillsboro, KS.; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services are scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Old Mission Mortuary with burial to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Wichita, KS..
