Edward Owen Scarbrough, Sr., 81, retired Beech Air Craft, passed away Sept. 26, 2014. Born April 9, 1933 in Troy, KS to Enos and Mary Scarbrough. He was SSgt for the KS National Guard 1951-1961, football coach for Beech/Cessna Pop Warner League 1966-1968 coaching the "Beech Bears" team. He was also an avid golfer. Edward was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Louis, Ira Lee and Donna Scarbrough; and son, Ricky Allen Scarbrough. He is survived by his wife, Colleen; children, Edward Owen Jr. (Patricia) Scarbrough, Deborah Marie Scarbrough, Vicki Lynne Scarbrough, Timothy Wayne Scarbrough, Kathryn Suzann Scarbrough, Judy (Robert) Rupp; 16 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; many nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday with Rosary at 9:00 a.m., at St. Elizabeth Chapel, 6800 45th St., Bel Aire. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
