Dorothea A. "Dottie" Ott, 90, passed away November 30, 2024, at Reeds Cove Health and Rehab. Born on March 15, 1934, to George Emmett Smith and Clara Lina Smith in Kansas City, Missouri.

Dottie had a love of flowers, from growing and designing. She was a member of Botanica Wichita Garden Club for 25 years and owned her own flower shop, Flowers by D. Dottie loved being put together with her makeup and clothes. She was a fashion icon.

She is survived by sons, Gary (Debbie) Schuessler and Larry (Becky) Schuessler, brother Edward Emmett Smith, grandchildren, Steve (Michelle) Schuessler, Julie Bennett, Matt Schuessler and Stacey (Lance) Parker and great grandchildren, Emily Schuessler, Mia Bennett, Rowan Bennett, Kolby Parker, Reagan Bennett and Hudson Bennett.

Dottie is preceded in death by her husband John Ott, mother Clara Smith and father George Emmett Smith.
