Dearmore, Doris "Ruth" 1927-2014. Ruth, 87, passed away Nov. 15, 2014, in Mesa, Ariz. Ruth was born Oct. 23, 1927, in McIntyre, Iowa, the daughter of Frank and Pearl Noble. The family moved to Wichita where Ruth attended North High School. Ruth married Earl O. Dearmore in 1947. Together they owned numerous clubs and restaurants in Wichita. She also taught Hotel Management at the "Central Business College" where she was beloved by many students. Ruth managed the Red Roof Inn motel and Tall Grass Inn hotel in Wichita. She was an avid horse woman, raising, training and racing quarter horses and thoroughbreds. Ruth was a talented, beautiful woman who loved her husband and family. She is survived by daughter, Vicki Gipson of Scottsdale, Ariz.; sons, Vic Dearmore of Webber, Kan., Mike Dearmore of Tempe, Ariz.; as well as four grandchildren, Tamara Nielsen, Chad Dearmore, Lacey Dearmore, Geoff Dearmore, and Torrey Dearmore (deceased). Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, at Old Mission Mortuary. Burial will be at White Chapel Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association 1820 E.
