Donna Lee (Thomas) Brillhart age 94 died Oct. 3, 2022 at Derby Health and Rehabilitation. Graveside services at White Chapel Memorial Gardens Friday, October 7, 2022, at 10 am. Donna was born 12-19-1927 at her parents home in Rural Labette, County, Ks, she was a daughter of Everett J and Mabel E. (McKee) Thomas. Donna attended High School at both Thayer, & Parsons, Ks. Donna married Darrel Ray Brillhart on December 22, 1944 in Columbus, Ks. After Darrel was discharged from the army they moved to Wichita, Ks. where Donna began her career in aviation. She worked at Beech Aircraft, Lear Jet, Cessna and Boeing. She retired from Boeing as a Quality Inspector in 1988. Darrel and Donna moved to Toronto Lake, Ks. soon after retirement. After Darrel's death in 2005 Donna moved back to Wichita, she then began attending Calvary Chapel of Wichita where she has made many cherished friends. Donna was preceded in death by her, husband, Darrel, 1 daughter, Carla Lee Lackey, Howard, Ks, her parents, 1 brother, Emmett Thomas, Parsons, Ks, and 3 sisters, Ruby (Thomas) Dougherty, Thayer, Ks, Helen (Thomas) Baker, Cherryvale, Ks, Margaret (Thomas) Jackson, Parsons, Ks. She is survived by 1 daughter, Carol Wingate, Cambridge, Ks, 1 son, Henry J (Sharon) Brillhart, Wichita, Ks, 2 nephews, Gary Henry, Washington State, Thomas Jackson, Parsons, Ks, 3 grandchildren, Shawn (Kelly) Marymee, Winfield, Ks, Gary (Rachel) Crum, Altamont, Ks, Jeremy (Gina) Brillhart, Wichita, Ks.
