Donald Ray McCray, passed away April 20, 2021, in Wichita, KS and was born December 29, 1935 to Barton McCray and Audrey (Patterson) McCray, in Vian, OK. He worked very hard all of his life in carpentry, he had built many things including a kitchen table and a china cabinet for his loving wife Norma. Donald loved everyone, always has gentle and kind words to say, but he also enjoyed teasing, playing jokes and being the life of the party.  Donald's pride and joy was his family and he would always put them first no matter what. In his younger years he was an avid bowler every weekend and he even won a tournament. Donald is survived by his loving wife, of 65 years, Norma; daughter, Jan (Gary) Munroe; brother, Reeves (Martha) McCray; sisters, Wanda Jackson and Bobbie Utter; grandchildren, Shad (Lynde) Munroe, Lacie (Jordan) Thome, Taylor Munroe and Patrick McCray; great-granchildren, Millyanna Munroe, Kamdyn Thome, Kolbe Thome and Brinklee Thome. He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings; son, Mark A. McCray and great-granddaughter, Kyrie Dawn Thome.
