Donald G. "Don" Hazelton, was born August 14, 1942 to James H. Sr. and Corrine R. (Allen) Hazelton in Wichita, Kansas. He died at the age of 65 on June 23, 2008 after a long illness.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Proceeded in death by his parent and an infant sister, Dixie Joan.
Survivors include wife, Susan; son, Rick ,St. Joseph, Missouri; grandson Kai Hazelton, Kansas City, Missouri; brother, James (Carol) Wichita, Kansas; sisters, Patricia (Jack) Herron of Los Gatos, California, Roberta (Jim) Brown, Maricopa, Arizona, Marilyn (Ron) Storrer, Lebo, Kansas, Carolyn (Gary) Gettle, Mesa, Arizona; numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, June 27, 2008 at Old Mission Mortuary Chapel.
Inurnment will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 1801 North Oliver, Wichita, Kansas.
To honor the life of Don, a memorial contribution fund has been established with American Diabetes Association.
