Deana Zoe Gleason, was born June 17, 1941 in Larned, KS. to Rev. Dean Edwin and Evelyn Geraldine (Light) Gleason. She passed quietly at Asbury Park, Newton, Ks. on September 8, 2011 at the age of 70.
Deana shared her life with her family and friends, caring for children and helping out in many homes. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Garnet Miller.
Leaving to mourn her passing,a sister and brother-in-law Anita (Gleason) and Larry Cyrier of Shawnee, KS.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Monty and Vallerie Gleason of Wichita, Ks., Schyler and Julie Gleason of Seattle, WA.; 12 nieces and nephews, Cyndi Niezer, Kristan Holland, Whitney Gleason, Ryan Gleason, Doug Hicks, Stephanie Thompson, Stephanie Miller, Jessica Gwinn, Paula Miller, David Miller, Daniel Gleason, Faith Gleason and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Deana's Life will be held Monday, September 12, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Old Mission Mortuary with burial to follow at Wichita Park Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Monday.
