Horsley, David W., 61, was born April 8, 1953, in Wichita, to Raymond and Doris Horsley. He died on Sept. 26, 2014, at Harry Hynes Hospice in Wichita. Dave was in Security Communications at USD 259 and also enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and eagles. He is preceded in death by his parents. Surviving him are his wife of 39 years, Barbara Horsley of Wichita; sons, John Horsley, Chris (Crystal) Horsley both of Wichita; daughters, Jennifer (William) Barnett of Rockledge, Fla., Tracy Spooner of Idaho; brothers, John (Linda) Horsley of Wichita, and twin brother, Richard (Kathy) Horsley of Derby; 12 grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 29, 2014, with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. A Celebration of his life is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2014, both at Old Mission Mortuary.
