Obituary

David L. Seavey April 4, 2021

Dave Seavey, loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to so many, passed from this world to the next after gracing the earth for the past 66 years.

Dave was born in Wichita, Kansas in 1954. The second child of George and Marie Seavey and brother of Diana Ubelhoer.

Dave met his wife Pam when he was 16 yrs. old. They were married in 1979 and were steadfast in their love for 41 years.

Dave's career in aviation began in 1974 at United Beechcraft and continued with Raytheon until 2002 when he joined Aerospace Turbine Rotables as Vice President/General Manager. His exuberance and passion for the aviation industry and his work family continued until his passing.

Dave's other passions were spending time with his family, fishing and outdoors by the pool or a beach.

Dave was preceeded in death by his father, George and his son Luke. He is survived by his mother, Marie, sister, Diana Ubelhoer, his wife, Pam, his daughter, Kitti Seavey and his favorite granddaughter, Lily Seavey as well as many other family members and friends. The memory of his kind heart and gentle spirit will live in our hearts forever.

We would like to express our gratitude to Harry Hynes Hospice for their care and compassion as well as a special thank you to all our friends and neighbors who selflessly were there for us day or night.

As per Dave's wishes there will be no service. In lieu of flowers: please be kind to one another.

I'M THERE INSIDE YOUR HEART
Right now I'm in a different place
And though we seem apart
I'm closer than I ever was,
I'm there inside your heart.
I'm with you when you greet each day
And while the sun shines bright
I'm there to share the sunsets, too
I'm with you every night.
I'm with you when the times are good
To share a laugh or two,
And if a tear should start to fall
I'll still be there for you.
And when that day arrives
That we no longer are apart,
I'll smile and hold you close to me,
Forever in my heart.
