Daniel J. Brinda, 91, was born in Valentine, Nebraska on September 8, 1935 to Charles and Anna Brinda. He passed away in Wichita, Kansas on October 11, 2026. He enjoyed working with his hands, doing woodworking, and welding. He spent his later years working on puzzles and watching EWTN. Daniel’s Catholic faith was very important to him and he could be found saying the rosary and leading a rosary group.

Daniel is survived by his sister, Margaret Lutter; brother, Gary Brinda; children, Harvey Brinda, Anna Brinda, Regina Orloske, Audie (Joe) Bartnick, Carlton (Jen) Brinda, Rita Ortega, Molli Brinda, Paula (Alan) Rader, Eileen Davis, Veronica (Randy) Wright, Marcus (Olya) Brinda, and Drew Brinda; 31 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Terril Brinda; his parents, Charles “Bud” Brinda and Anna Brinda; and his son, Nathan Brinda.

A Rosary will take place at 7:00pm on Sunday, October 18th at Christ the King Catholic Church. A Mass will take place at 10:30am on Monday, October 19th at Christ the King Catholic Church, burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
