Obituary

Clara "Snookie" Delorez Wright

Clara Delorez Wright surrendered to our Lord and Savior to receive her wings after  82 years on July 26, 2023.

Clara affectionately known to family as "Snookie" was born in Muskogee  Oklahoma to Lee Spencer and Mary Cooper on July 10, 1941. She attended  Elementary, Junior High and High School in Muskogee graduating from Manual  Training now known as Muskogee High School in 1958.

Clara was always the life of the party and was ready to dance whenever music was  turned on, she also had a record collection that was out of this world and didn't  mind showing it off. Clara received her nursing degree and became an LPN and  worked in the hospital, nursing home, and home health care settings until she  retired after 40 years of service. Clara loved to watch westerns anytime you called  or came over and asked what she was doing she'd always say "Watching the  Western Channel". Clara loved all her family members whom she kept up with  and visited whenever she could. Anyone who knows Clara knew that she always  said, "Clara loves Clara" and showed that everyday of her life. Clara will truly be  missed by all who knew and loved her.

Soar with the Eagles

Mama, I long to hear your voice every day, feel your touch and just be in your  presence. Although I know our time has come to an end, I can't help but to be  jealous that heaven gets to see your beautiful smile every day. As the tears fall

from my face, I will always remember the fun times you and I had, the laughter we  shared, you calling to see how my workday went and how the kids are doing. I will  forever cherish these moments that I no longer will have with you. I find comfort  in knowing you are no longer in pain and that you are at peace now. One of your  favorite sayings was, "I can't soar with Eagles on account of messing around with a  bunch of Turkeys," I know for sure you are now soaring high with those Eagles. Fly  high mama until we meet again, I will love you forever and always.
