Clara Jo Parry, was born February 10, 1926 in Manhattan, KS to George and Luella (York) Nelson. She passed away peacefully with her family surrounding her after a long illness on November 2, 2014 at the age of 88 years. Clara was a dedicated wife and homemaker and will be remembered for her never-ending love of children. She is preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers and 6 sisters. Surviving Clara Jo is her husband of 67 years, Charles; 5 children, Dorothy (Rod) Brunson of Longmont, CO., David (Judy) Parry of Scranton, KS., Deborah (Rob) Hildreth of Gilbert, AZ., Diann Wolfraven of Billings, MT., and Dan (Birdie) Parry of Wasilla, AK.; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 1 great- great grandson.
Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. with family present 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral Service being held on Friday, Nov. 7, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Old Mission Mortuary. Entombment will follow at Serenity Mausoleum. Memorials have been chosen to Countryside Christian Church-Children's Ministry, 1919 S. Rock Road, Wichita, Ks. 67207.
