Cynthia Sue Banks passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2022, at Advena on Woodlawn. She was 69 years old. Cindy was born in Salina, Kansas, and was the youngest of 3 children, to Curtis Wayne Banks and Shirley Ann Keikel. Her brother Michael Wayne Banks had passed away before her on January 14, 2014 and her sister, Sherry (Banks) Adams also passed away before her on July 23, 2020 her parents also preceded her, with her mother in 1986 and her father in 2020. Cindy's childhood years were spent in Salina, Kansas and Warner Robins, Georgia with most of her adult life spent in Wichita, Kansas. Cindy was married and divorced, twice, with no children of her own, all the more reason she loved her nieces and nephews, Scott Michael Banks, Kandi Kae (Banks) Blakney, Andrea Lynn Banks, Nicholas St. John Banks and Chad Michael Banks whom she adored along with their significant others and children, Justin, Scott, Samantha, Stephen, Shane, Skylar, Gage, Tayen, Ahriana, Willow, Kyng and Champ. Many great nieces and nephews also survive her. Cindy will always have a special place in everyone's hearts. Memories of her loud laughter; jokes; giving gifts and spending time with family and friends. Everyone will all agree that Cindy was a character. She will be missed, with all our love.
