IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Christopher
Buckner-Mcintyre
April 12, 1973 – June 11, 2021
Chris was born April 12, 1973, in Wichita, KS. On June 11, 2021, God called Chris home to rest eternally. He will forever be in our hearts, watching over his family and children.
Chris better known as "Bukkshotz" or just "Shotz" was a pioneer in the Wichita dance and music scene. He loved creatively expressing himself in the studio, often sharing his life battles through his lyrics. He was a mentor to many up and coming rappers in the community.
Chris was a loving son, brother, father, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. He is survived by his parents, Joyce McIntyre, Mark (Kim) McIntyre and Ricky Johnson. His siblings, Marcus (Porsha) McIntyre, Alesia McIntyre, Rena, Carnetha, Diamond and Alexus Johnson. His children, Charisma (Nathan) Murphy, Thomas Strong, Christian McFerren, Chrishelle McIntyre and Queen Henagan. His beloved granddaughter, Sunday Murphy. His nephews, Maurice, Marq'tavius and Myles McIntyre and beloved niece Aneysa McIntyre as well as a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
To know Chris was to love him. From his gumby haircut to perm roller set. Spray painting clothes, to break dancing and rap battles, he always left us with a smile on our face. He was fiercely loyal and had the biggest heart of gold. We will cherish each and every one of the memories we have of him until we meet again!
