Cheryl J. Claybrook, was born March 4, 1947 in Wichita, Kansas to Wilbur and Beth (Gilchrist) Johnson. She passed away on August 20, 2012 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, in Wichita, Kansas at the age of 65.
Cheryl was an accountant for 30 years at the CPA firm Blake and Moody, in Radford, Virginia. She moved back to Wichita and worked for the Wichita Community Foundation while caring for her mother.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Cheryl is survived by a brother, Larry W. (Debbie) Johnson of Wylie, Texas; 3 nieces, Lori (Brian) Reynolds, LaDonna (Shannon) West all of Wichita, KS. and Kristi (Brandon) Elizondo of Austin, TX.; 5 great nephews and 1 great niece; cousins and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held, Monday, August 27, 2012 at 11:00a.m. at Liberty Missionary Baptist Church, 1127 S. Dodge Ave., Wichita, Kansas.
Cremation has been chosen by the family with Old Mission Mortuary handling the arrangements.
