Charles was a retired Vice President of The Fourth National Bank / Bank IV / Bank of America.  He served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean conflict as a member of the Military Police Force and was stationed overseas. Charles was a lifelong member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the National Rifle Association

Charles loved the outdoors, was an accomplished hunter and fisherman and spent many family vacations afield, camping and sharing his love of the outdoors with his family.

Preceded in death by his parents Wilbur and Faye Traver, Brother Jerry, his loving wife Mary (Jett) Traver and grandson Jason Rucker.  Charles is survived by Brother Larry Baker, daughters Charlotte Cummings, Diana (Roger) Williamson, four grandsons, and seven great grand-children.

A private family graveside service will be held.
