Cecil Wilson Bruce was born Aug. 25, 1917 in Salina, Ks. to Calvin Dennis and Florence Naomi (Martin) Bruce. He passed away on July 20, 2015 in Wichita, Ks. at the age of 97. Cecil was a retired FAA Inspector. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Gladys; 2 brothers, Ralph and Richard; 2 sisters, Berniece Allen and Lauline Seaton. Cecil will be missed by his daughter and son-in law, Marcia and Billy Ray of Jenks, OK; his grandchildren, Bernal (Chalmette) Ray and Angela Ray. Memorials have been established with St. Matthew CME Church Scholarship Fund, 841 N. Cleveland, Wichita, KS. 67214. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, July 24, 2015 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Old Mission Mortuary Chapel with burial in Old Mission Cemetery.
