Candice (Candi) Lea Chase

Candi passed away January 28, 2023 at the age of 62 following a long illness in
Wichita, KS. She was born in Wichita, KS on June 28, 1960 in Wichita, KS to Gerald
and Elinor Chase.
Candi graduated from South High School in Wichita. She worked for 30 years at
the Wichita Eagle Newspaper and then started a new career working at Quivira
Council for the Boy Scouts of America in Wichita, KS for 13 years. She loved
working with all ages of scouters.
She is preceded in death by her mother, father, & sister, Debbie.
She is survived by her sister, Mardi (Willie) Wade, Nephew, Eric (Michelle) Endres,
Niece Jennifer (Courtney) Simon, Niece Lisa (Greg) Spelts along with several
Aunts, an Uncle, Great Nieces, Great Nephews, Foster Siblings and many, many
friends.
Candi will be cremated however, a celebration of life will be held at Chisolm Trail
Church of Christ at 5833 E. 37 th St N, Wichita, KS 67220 on February 20, 2023 at
11:00 am.
There will be a luncheon following the service at Chisolm Trail Church of Christ at
5833 E. 37 th St N, Wichita, KS 67220. It is located between N. Oliver St. &  N.
Woodlawn St on 37 th St N.

In lieu of flowers, please send memorial contributions to Quivira Council, BSA
3247 N Oliver Ave, Wichita, KS 67220 payable to Candi's Campership Fund that
will allow scouters to attend camps for a long time to come.
