Buford "Bud" C. Spiers Jr., was born March 23, 1935 in Carriere, MS. to Buford C. and Vivian (Howard) Spiers. He passed away at his home in Wichita, KS. on June 7, 2017 at the age of 82. Bud was a retired pipe fitter and welder, Korean. Army Veteran and a Midian Shriner. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Virginia; son, Vincent C. Spiers and a daughter, Rhonda Lynn Spiers. Survivors are his children, Gail Kleinfeld, Buford "Butch"C. Spiers III, Susie Stout,Karla Cravens (Joe), Brian Spiers, Carol Smith and Andy Mullin; two sisters, Sandy and Sarah; 24 Grandchildren and 16 Great-Grandchildren; and his faithful friend, "Freckles". Memorials have been established with Midian Shrine Plane of Mercy or Humane Society. A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at River of Life Worship Center, 1100 E. Grand Ave., Haysville, KS. Cremation has been chosen.
