Bonnie Mendenhall Carter, 93 was born March 10, 1921 and died peacefully on October 9, 2014 in Wichita, Ks.. She was a homemaker with a passion to cook! Preceding her in death were her parents; a brother; husband, C.J. Mendenhall and husband, Tom Carter; and a son-in-law, Donald Dodds. Bonnie is survived by her son, Roger (Janie) Mendenhall of Wichita Ks; a daughter, Shari Dodds of St. George, Ks.; 2 grandchildren, Meredith Mendenhall and Kari (Heath) Peterson; 8 great-grandchildren; step-daughter, Marianne and Suzanne Carter other family and friends. Visitation will be held Monday, Oct. 13, 2014 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Old Mission Mortuary. Funeral Services are scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at University Friends Church, 1840 W. University, Wichita, Ks. with a private entombment at Mission Chapel Mausoleum.
