BOB LONG (95) May 24, 1927 to August 9, 2022.  Bob was born at home on a farm in Lincoln, KS to Earl and Sarah Long. After high school he served in the U.S. Army until the end of WWII. He later moved to Wichita and attended Barber College and worked at Ken-Mar barber shop and later at his own shop at Central and Oliver. Bob gave many boys their first haircut!  He is survived by daughters Martha (Grayson) Jones and Nancy (Ken) Fugate and grandsons Alex and Ben Fugate. He is preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Luella.

His hobbies included woodworking, welding and stained glass. He took pride in his home and yard.  He could fix anything!  After retiring, he volunteered with his wife at the Red Cross and VA Hospital and his church

A memorial service will be Saturday, August 20 at 2:00 at University United Methodist Church, 2220 N. Yale, Wichita, KS  67220.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to University United Methodist Church or Home Health and Hospice of Kansas.  Virtual service will be accessible at www.OldMissionMortuary.com .
