Billie Joe Miller born in 1927 in Milan, Ks to William and Mary Edna Pope (Lathers); Died Sunday Feb 9, 2020 at Pine Village Memory Care unit.

She was a person who laughed often, cussed when mad, danced until her feet hurt and loved everyone.

Her loving nature made her a second mom to many, but she preferred to be called Nana.

This woman's face would light up when she saw you. She would speak her mind, be blunt, but you knew you could trust her. She had a sincere love for the Lord.   Her heart was great but her grandchildren also knew that you listen to Nana or else! She will be greatly missed by all

Preceded in death by her parents William and Mary Edna Pope, brothers Charles and Freddie Glenn Pope, and previous spouses.

Survived by daughter Brenda Joe Straight of Burrton (Tom), son Michael Hale of Wichita(Kelly), step-daughter Rachael Jauregui (Bernie) and half-sister Charlotte Baker. Also 10 grandchildren Christopher Hale, Dillan Straight, Hattie Joe Cauwles, Macy Straight, Samantha Hale, Holden Straight, Chaney Straight, Gentry Straight, Alyssa Jauregui and Matthew Olds;  5 great-grandchildren Temprence, Blaize, Walker, Ava, Amari, and Caleb; Cousins, nieces and nephews are also survivors.
