Beverly Jean Mathers, 80, went home to be with Jesus Nov. 14, 2009.
She was born Dec. 10, 1928 in Kansas City, MO to Frederick C. & Noreen Casmaer. She graduated in 1947 from East High School and married James "Don" Mathers in October 1947. Together they had 4 children.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Fred C. Casmaer.
She leaves behind her lifelong love, husband, Don; children, Debra (Barry) Murphy of Aloha, OR; Steven Mathers, Kevin Mathers, Julie Chippeaux, all of Wichita; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation 4-8 p.m. Wed., Funeral Service 2 p.m. Thurs., both at Old Mission Mortuary, 3424 E. 21st Street.
