Betty Jean Scott, retired AT&T employee, passed away Friday, March 30. Betty was born in Newton, Kansas in 1927.
She was preceded in death by one son, Mark Brown, her parents, Lutie and Jason Markee, brother, Fred Markee and sister, Francis Dunlap.
Betty Jean was a volunteer for many years with The Assistance League of Wichita.
She is survived by her children, Judy Gilchrist (Jim), Wichita, Kansas, Kirk Scott (Diane) Prairie Village, Kansas, Bill Scott (Anna) Houston, Texas, and Brad Brown, Wichita, Kansas; grandchildren, Jason Gilchrist, Patricia and Anna Scott, Hunter and Blake Scott, Brock and Buck Brown, Don Crabel, and six great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, at Old Mission Mortuary, Wichita.
