Betty was born July 15, 1929. She was the daughter of Ray and Edith Cronk, and was raised on a farm in Covert, Kansas. She played basketball for her high school and was a life long fan of WSU and KU basketball. She raised four children in Wichtia, Ks.; Linda (Steve) Schaich, Stephen Cailteux, Kathy (Tony) Menzie, Larry (Renee') Cailteux.  She worked at Cessna Aircraft for twelve years.

Her family now includes thirteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. Betty enjoyed playing her organ, which she was self taught, and visiting with her family and friends. Lieu of flowers please make donations to Harry Hynes Hospice.
