Obituary

Johnson-Eshbaugh, Betty M., passed away peacefully on Monday, October 31, 2022. A devout Christian, her faith was reflected in the way she lived life. Betty was born in Rogers, Arkansas in 1926 to Oliver & Orpha Bradford. She worked as a bank branch manager and was the bookkeeper for her husband's service station, Kenny's Eastgate Mobil. She was married to Kenneth Johnson for 59 years until his death in 2003. She was then married to Alan Eshbaugh for 13 years until his death in 2019. Also preceded in death by her parents, 3 siblings Frank Bradford, Bernice Snyder and Ruth Taylor, her daughter Jeanie Montgomery-Peay, 2 granddaughters Amie Montgomery and Erin Stallard, and step-grandson Bryan Eshbaugh. She is survived by her daughters, Sue (Dave) Watters and Sheri Stallard, stepdaughter Debra (Ron) Clements and stepson Doug (Krista) Eshbaugh, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. There will be a visitation time at 12:30pm and a service at 1pm on Monday, November 7 at Mt Vernon United Methodist Church in Wichita. Burial to follow at Old Mission Cemetery. In lieu of flowers you may donate to either Mt Vernon United Methodist Church in Wichita or Grandview United Methodist Church in Winfield, KS.
