Betty J. (Chapman) Bales ,84 passed away November 25th, 2019. She was born in Graymont, GA April 28th 1935 to John Daniel Chapman and Bertha M. (Proctor) Chapman. Betty was married to the love of her life William (Bruce) Bales on May 2nd 1953. She was a computer board tester at NCR. She enjoyed quilting, embroidery, gardening and cooking.  Betty had a large spoon collection and also enjoyed collecting Betty Boop memorabilia. She and Bruce enjoyed being called B cubed. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Bruce, her parents, 3 brothers and 6 sisters. Betty is survived by daughters, Patty (David) Ebenkamp, Katie Sills, and Susan (Jack) Salmans, son Bob (Kathy), sister Shirley Messenger: 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
