Bert James Bartlett, "Jim", was born Oct. 13, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois to Fredrick LaGrange and Sarah Elizabeth (Adams) Bartlett. Jim passed away on June 3, 2017 in Wichita, Ks. at the age of 85. Jim was a retired Mechanical Engineer for McDonnell Douglas, Boeing and Cessna. He was also active in the Midian Shrine. Preceding him in death are his parents and his first wife, LaDonna. Survivors are his wife Mary (Lammey) Bartlett; two sons, Charles (Kathie) Bartlett and Richard (Michelle) Bartlett; 2 step-daughters, Michele (Tom) Brown and Marcia Little; his twin brothers, Robert Bartlett and Ralph (Donna) Bartlett; 10 grandchildren, Nathaniel, Maxwell, Benjamin, Emma, Samuel, Cora, Drake, Brighton, Jeremy and Maurice. Visitation will be held at Old Mission Mortuary on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.. Celebration of his Life is scheduled Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Pathway Church, 2001 N. Maize Road with Military Honors and Masonic Graveside services to follow.. Memorials have been chosen to Midian Shrine Plane of Mercy, 130 N. Topeka, Wichita, Ks. 67202.
