Barbara "Barb" (Frazier) Miller, 72, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025. She was born on January 4, 1953 in Wichita, Kansas, to the late Bill and Helen Frazier.

Barb is survived by her loving husband, Ron; sister, Leanna; son, Steve (Christine) McKenna; and grandchildren, Emmett and Madelyn.

A 1971 graduate of Wichita South High School, Barb earned her RN from Wesley School of Nursing in 1974 and later completed her BSN at age 59, an accomplishment she was especially proud of. During her more than 40-year nursing career, Barb worked with OB/GYN physicians, floor work, and later in surgery at Wesley Hospital, and in surgery at the Robert J. Dole VA Hospital, where she spent her final decade before retiring in January 2020.

Barb was an avid Wichita State Shocker and Ohio State football fan, attending many games at "The Shoe" with Ron. She loved traveling, cruising, and taking motorcycle trips together through Colorado, Arkansas, New Mexico, and South Dakota. In retirement, she devoted her time to volunteering with Meals on Wheels, Klothes Kloset, and Victory in the Valley. Her deep love for animals, especially dogs, was well known to all who knew her.

Barb will be deeply missed by her family and friends who loved her dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held Fri December 5th at West Heights United Methodist Church. 745 N Westlink Ave, Wichita, KS 67212 at 1030 a.m.
