Barbara L. (Smith) DeHaven

Barbara Smith was born 8/25/30 in Grenola, KS to Ross Elliott and Vera (Arbuckle) Smith. She passed away October 20, 2018 at her home in Wichita, KS.

She was united in marriage Sept 3, 1948 to Earl R. DeHaven. Earl and Barbara were blessed with five sons; William (Diana), of Chino Valley, AZ; Gary (Nannette), of Wichita; Tom (Patti), of Oxford; Paul (Cheryl), of Wellington; and Joel (Christine), of Flagstaff, AZ and three daughters; Leslye (Roy) Werner of Liberty, MO; Kate (Mark) Eaton of Wichita; and Nancy (Leonard) Jackson of Blue Mound, KS.

Her husband of seventy years and her children survive her, as well as her sisters Carolyn (Bob) Bonat and Marolyn Madden, both of Wichita, sixteen grandchildren, and twenty great-grandchildren.

Viewing and visitation will be Tuesday, October 23 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with funeral service (no viewing) on Wednesday, October 24 at 10:00 a.m. All services to be held at Old Mission Mortuary, 3424 E 21 ^st N, Wichita. Interment following at Kechi Township Cemetery at 1:00 p.m.
