Asbury "Barry" Keith Lathrom, 80, passed away January 19, 2025, in Wichita, Kansas. He was born in Wichita, Kansas, January 7, 1945, to Seybrun and Gayle (Goertzen) Lathrom. Barry loved to go camping in Colorado and at Fall River lake in Kansas. He enjoyed fishing on the boat his father built.  He would take vacations to help his Uncle Virgil on the farm in Idaho. He had two favorite holidays, Christmas and Independence Day. He started playing Christmas music in October.  He had a license for the fireworks that he enjoyed setting off. Barry enjoyed all kinds of music.  He loved fixing things, if it needed working on, he would try his best to fix it. He was always helpful, and he was generous with his time and work. Barry is preceded in death by his parents and survived by his wife, Nancy, of 57 years; son, Keith (Sheryl) Lathrom; daughter, Niki (Garan) Johnson; siblings, Linda Childres, Seybrun "Butch" (Mary) Lathrom Jr and Mary "Beth" Elizabeth Emery; grandchildren, Charlotte, Kayla, Andrea and Joel Lathrom, Gunner (Courtney), Gage and Garrick Johnson and 2 great grandchildren, Amyra and Autumn Johnson.
