April Celeste (Wiggan) Terrel died September 23, 2008. She was born December 26, 1957 in Wichita, Kansas to Charles and Marilyn Wiggans who preceded her in death. She was a graduate from Derby Senior High School in 1976. April was a long time employee of Aquila Gas Company and also worked at J.C.Penny.
April married Jimmy Terrel (deceased) in 1979 and together they raised three children. She is survived by her daughters, Amy Cardone of Mapleville, Rhode Island, Ann Terrel (Josh Rust); son, Jason Terrel (Shanda) both of Wichita,; sister Connie White (Don) of Wichita; brothers, John Wiggans of California, Cy Wiggans (Robin) of Wichita and Matthew Wiggans (Virginia) of Pullman, Washington; and six grandchildren, Trista, Angela, Athan, Jove and Allison Celeste.
April enjoyed family, playing games and crafts of all kinds. April liked to help with her vacation bible school at her local church. She was loved by her entire family and will be deeply missed.
Visitation will take place Tuesday, September 30 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. with family present from 6 - 8.
A Funeral Service will occur Wednesday, October 1 at 1:30 p.m. at Old Mission Mortuary Chapel.
Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 1801 North Oliver.
