IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Annie
Mcintosh
June 24, 1933 – July 26, 2024
Annie McIntosh was a beautiful mother, friend, grandmother, and a joy to be around. When you think of Annie, think of the book of Psalms. She loved Psalms, she loved life, she enjoyed smiling, and making others laugh. On June 24, 1933, a baby girl was born to William Marshall and Paralee Marshall. Annie was named after her grandmother. She was a regularly active child. Annie had two younger brothers and five sisters. She moved to Wichita, Kansas, met and married her prince, Willie McIntosh. Annie was genuinely loved by her husband and best friend of 71 years; you would not see one without the other. Five daughters were born to this union, Rosie Alston (Calvin); Towana Littleton (Dwight); Janice Rolfe (Theodis); Arnetta McIntosh and Laverne Edmond (Nathan). Annie was so proud of her five daughters, and she would always tell her friends my girls are doing well. She was a hard worker and helped many people while working at the county hospital. Her favorite job was at Excel, she loved swinging her knife and cutting meat. As she grew older, Willie and Annie helped people by renting houses to those in need. She was a proud member of Progressive Missionary Baptist Church where she attended for 70 years and served faithfully as an usher for 52 years. She loved her life, her daughters, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Annie was a bright light; her light will continue to shine throughout our family. Corinthians 5:8 To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
