Anna "Jo" Young, 80, beautiful, beloved mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on February 15, 2014 surrounded by her family and wrapped in God's love. Jo was born on January 12, 1934 in Chanute, KS., the sixth of seven children to Viola and William Lesan. Jo graduated from Chanute High School in 1951 and married the love of her life, Bob Young later that year. They lived most of their married life in Wichita, where Jo was a proud Beechcrafter for twenty nine years, before retiring in 1996. During her retirement years, Jo's greatest joy in life came from spending time with her grandsons and playing bridge. Jo is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and David Jamis; grandsons, Jared and Grant Jamis and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; parents, Viola and William Lesan; brothers, Albert and Jack Lesan; sisters, Louise Tennant, Betty Tier, Lois Alexander and Janice Nichols. Per Jo's request, a private family celebration of life will be held in lieu of a funeral. Memorials have been established with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Tribute #35376918, P.O.
