IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Amire Lizè
Parker
November 23, 2004 – January 19, 2026
Amire Parker was born on November 23, 2004, to Crystal Grimmett and DeArmomd Parker Sr., and from the very beginning she carried a bright spirit and a determined heart. She spent her early years attending Wichita Public Schools and Urban Prep Academy, where her love for learning and sense of purpose began to take shape. In 2023, Amire proudly graduated from Northeast Magnet High School and soon after followed her dreams to Lawrence, Kansas, to attend the University of Kansas. There, she pursued a degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Business, driven by a deep desire to make a difference. While in college, Amire was offered a position with the Public Defense Office in Wyandotte, Kansas—a milestone that marked the start of the life she was building with hope and ambition. She truly loved her work and the people she served alongside, finding joy and fulfillment in the path she had chosen.
Amire was a bright light that filled every room she entered. She loved to sing, dance, and make everyone laugh, and her presence alone was enough to turn any moment into a joyful one. When Amire arrived, everyone knew a good time was sure to follow. She was a devoted daughter, a loving sister, and a loyal friend whose heart knew no limits. As an aunt, Amire was truly one of a kind. Her nieces and nephews lit up whenever she came to town, knowing that "My Mir-Mir" was ready for pictures, late-night singing, and memories they will cherish forever.
Amire was preceded in death by her grandparents, Kenneth R. Parker Sr., Leslie J. Parker, and Johnell Williams Sr.; her sister, R'Miracle Parker; and her uncle, DeAndre Parker.
Amire leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Skylar Ranae Parker; her mother, Crystal; her father, DeArmond Sr.; (Nuciann), five brothers, DeArmond Jr., Damazje, Derrick, Armond, and Dermond; and three sisters, Jaionna, MyAngel, and Janelle, all of Wichita, Kansas. She is also survived by her grandmother, Oneida L. Grimmett of Wichita, Kansas; nine aunts, Chantell, Famika (Eric Peters), A'Teashia, Oriana, Tierra, and Kistia of Wichita, Kansas, and Travita, Kenya and Heather of Texas; and eight uncles, Jamaal, Quincy, Kenneth, and Kenté of Wichita, Kansas, Kenneth of Texas, Marcus of Hutchinson, Kansas, Johnell Jr and Jonathan of Kansas City, Kansas. She also leaves behind seven nieces, two nephews, and many cousins, extended family members, and friends who will remember her forever. Amire was an amazing daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend. She will forever be missed.
