Ambrose Cameron III was born into this life on May 25, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois. He was second eldest of six children born to the union of Ambrose Jr. and Fannie Mae Coleman (both preceded him in death). His eldest brother Alvin (Geraldine) Cameron also precedes him in death. He graduated from Tilden Tech High School in Chicago. He was an honor student and graduated a year ahead of his class. He went on to join the United States Airforce. He was stationed at McConnell Air Force Base in Wichita, Kansas. He met and married the love of his life Geneva Paulette Harris, on July 10, 1965. On July 10, 2018, they held each other close as they celebrated 53 years of marriage. This union was blessed with three sons, Monte, Danon and Derrick Cameron. Ambrose was a successful salesperson for Prudential Insurance. He worked diligently and later became a business owner (Cameron Ins. Agency). It was a family affair. He enjoyed playing golf and watching sports. His greatest joy was time spent with family and friends. He became ill six years ago but he bore his suffering with patience and trust. In it all and through it all he continued to smile. At 10:20 p.m. on the evening of July 25, 2018, Ambrose departed this life knowing he was loved. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Paulette; three sons, Monte, Danon and Derrick; two grandchildren, Danon and Delorean; a great grandson, Danon Jr. and great grand daughter expected in October 2018; two sisters, Elaine Allen and Lisa (Earl) Duke; two brothers, Elliot (Marsh) Cameron, Michael Cameron and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
