Alma Lois Pauler, 78, went to her Heavenly Home on July 31, 2015. It is with both sadness and joy that we remember her life. Cherished wife of 54 years to Charles E. Pauler Sr., beloved mother to Rickey Pauler, Ann Oliver (Clay), and Chuck Pauler (Lisa). She is also survived by 3 of her brothers; 9 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren, with her 10th on the way, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Lois, a red haired, freckled faced and ornery girl, was born on February 4, 1937, and raised in Van Buren, Arkansas, to Eller and Tom Key. Lois was a faithful homemaker and Navy wife who managed six tours of duty separated from her husband. Her love for gardening, cooking, sewing, cake decorating and entertaining others will always be cherished. She had a heart and love for all people and went out of her way to serve the downtrodden, her family, her friends, neighbors and anyone she encountered. She never knew a stranger. Her Christian faith was her foundation for loving and serving others, including volunteer service at Botanica Gardens, Simple House, and Maude Carpenter Children's Home. She served her church family in gardening, caring for the elderly, and loving any child who came her way. Well done, good and faithful servant. She will be greatly missed. We will see her again soon and very soon, restored completely with her loving Savior, Jesus Christ. Visitation with the family will be held from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2015; Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Old Mission Mortuary. Funeral Home
