Alice Naomi Collins Fallis (90) was born to Arville Joseph Collins and Jennie Lou Howell Collins on May 27, 1929 and passed away peacefully on November 11, 2019. She is survived by her loving husband James Butler Fallis Jr and her children James Butler Fallis III (Jim) and his wife Deborah as well as Kathy Jean Fallis Sater and her husband Stephen.
In addition to raising her children, Alice was a talented teacher who completed her bachelor at Central State College in Education and later her Masters in Fine Arts at The Wichita State University. She taught elementary in Los Alamos, Colorado; Decatur, Illinois; Tulsa, Oklahoma, and then Wichita, Kansas. After she completed her Masters in Fine Arts at The Wichita State University, her teaching career continued as art teacher at Clearwater High School until she retired. Students still approach her and acknowledge how she enhanced their lives.
In later years, another important role she held was being Grandmother and then GiGi to her Great Grand children, which she thoroughly enjoyed.
Alice enjoyed extensive travels with her husband coast to coast, Alaska, and Acapulco. They spent many years in competition bridge and square dancing with a highlight of dancing at the White House.
Her family is grateful for the love and joy she brought into their lives.
