Alfred C. McPhaul, 73, died April 21, 2024, at Hillsboro Community Hospital. He was born March 18th 1951, in Tullahassee, Oklahoma, the son of Sammie McPhaul and Berneice (McIntosh) McPhaul.

Alfred graduated from Heights High School, class of 1969, also was a graduate of Wichita State University. Alfred last worked for Dole Packing Co. He worked on several community projects including, Sickle Cell, Voter Registration and was a Election Judge. Alfred participated in numerous other civic activities.

Alfred was predeceased by his parents and 4 siblings.

Surviving him are 3 sisters, Almetrice T. Dean, escort Melvin Bobo, of Wichita, Sandra Haasis (Mark Haasis) of Peoria, Illinois, Marsha McPhaul, of Wichita, Kansas; four brothers, Rudy McPhaul (Kimberly), of Detroit, Michigan, Sammie McPhaul (Patricia), of Wichita, Kansas, Jerry McPhaul (Donnis), of Kechi, Kansas and Carl L. McPhaul (Leonda), of Wichita, Kansas; many nieces and nephews and a host of beloved relatives and friends.
