Adrian (Chip) Wayne Gilchrist, 60, of Wichita, passed away on February 19, 2017, after an extended illness.

Chip was born to Adrian and Leona Gilchrist on August 30, 1956. He attended Goddard High School. In 1981, he married Kathleen Schmidt, and together they had three children. After working for over 20 years at the Boeing factory, he moved on to the things he loved: enjoying music and technology, and catching up with his family.

Chip is preceded in death by his parents Adrian and Leona, his siblings Randy and Adria, and his grandson Elias Solomon.

Chip is survived by his daughters Shaleen Wallis (Clayton) and Rachelle Gilchrist, his son Patrick Gilchrist (Breanne), his sisters Pam Wiggins (Scott) and Renee Ullum (Max), and his grandchildren Aleen, Ava,Elana, Eilah and Saila.

He was loved, and will be missed by everyone.
